It's with a heavy heart (and drying Sharpie pen) that I report that the former site of Brainco, now of Hopkins (not Minneapolis, Ed), has been reduced to a field of dirt. Gone is laboratory-like "BRAINCO" sign out front. Gone are the stained carpets and cracked concretefloors. Gone is the cacophony of dodge balls--wait, fuck the dodgeballers, we won't miss them. Gone are the days of drinking in cool bars after
class. Gone are the days of being inspired by the urban environment.
Gone are the days where one could smoke a cigarette without propping
the goddamn bank door open with a magazine subscription insert--and
still be locked out. Gone are the days of bathrooms without classic
rock. Gone are the days with space in which to work and walking to
class. Whatever. At least Ed doesn't have to drive as far to work
anymore. If you have a minute to spare in the coming days and weeks
before another block of condos rises majestically over, well, another
block of condos across the street, stop by and pay your respects. Bring
a tissue, though. You'll need it.

Amen.
we could haunt it.
I like the sound of that. Former Brainco site haunted by disgruntled superbeasts.
What's going to be more depressing is when those condos are empty.
I wonder what happened to that Brainco sign?
I bet the sign is at a scrapyard and junkyard dudes are standing around looking at it wondering what the fuck Brainco is. That, or Ed mounted it to the front of his truck like longhorns on a Texas Caddy.
I was thinking more along the lines of forwarding all of our creative junkmail to the address of the condos. If we all do it, there would be difficulty getting through the front door!
I'm guessing northern tool just recently sold a truck grill mount to a little man from hopkins.
