New Logo

New logo courtesy of Justin "Baconator" Martinez of Spunk design fame. The letters are made of raw meat. Just the way we like it. Thanks buddy!

Now all we need are a few scrolling ads on the sides so I can finally afford that mink coat I've had my eye on.

Is it Kobe beef?

i like it. but it needs more meat. i mean, it needs to be more believable as "meat".

try adding contrast or noise.

nice concept. needs work on execution.

yup, i agree. the meat thing is a great concept but not as clear as it should be. especially the first "s". the side shadow looks too plain and solid colored. after i read that the letters are supposed to look like meat, i also thought it would be cool if the entire word made the shape of a t-bone or something.

this is something i slapped together after getting my stomach punched by Wendy's new Baconator sandwich, i will for sure upgrade the quality of meat lettering once my strength is back to normal. i hate you Baconater!

3.. is the magic number. This logo seems very unispired, and rushed. The concept is strewn about in a ugly manner.

dude superbeasts are subtle and crafty. This logo screams, shoot me, I'm easy.

Dude, the og logo was creative and subtle, and no one knew it. THis logo is bad, and it should be in the smithsonian under the visual representation of a bad ad.

I think you acheived perfection when you brought Lars into the mix.

What do you know about superbeasts?

This is a collaborative blog and I appreciate the efforts of everyone that offer something to help the look and content that lies within. If you don't like what you see, offer up your own solutions for improvement.

I agree the meat concept is brilliant. Especially after being introduced to this blog by the "wow" tummy. Great stuff. I do think that the idea of shaping the logo like a steak would be perfect. I can totally see that! Go to it boys!

I'm not a fan. A weblog with such an astoundingly awesome title - SUPERBEAST - deserves a logo to match. This one's just sort of. I don't want to be a dick, but a true Superbeast shouldn't be afraid to speak his or her mind. If there was ever a business where you need to be thick-skinned and unoffendable, it's this one. That said, the current logo submission is more than I've contributed and I'd like to applaud the designer for the effort. But now that I think more about it, I may have changed my mind. It might just be throw-back-cheese enough to work for me. "Apache" style, you know? Let's just forget I said anything.
Keep it in your pants.
