D-Load it Dude

Netflix now allows subscribers to download movies onto their computer without any extra expense. Hardly a new technology, but I've been waiting patiently for this to happen because Itunes never has anything I want to watch. Furthermore Netflix is still kicking ass for the online providers with their vast collection titles. That said, I was heartbroken to find out that you can only download to PC's. And before all you nerds come screaming from behind your firewalls, yes, I'm sure there is something I can download to crack their system. I just don't have the gumption to do so right now.

I'm a big fan of documentary film, and Netflix has done a brilliant job of carrying the up-to-date, and hard to find titles.

As an ode to an Original Superbeast (Da OSB), Gary Koelling, "What's in your queue?"

1. Planet Earth
2. Deadwood Season 3
3. Goin Upriver: The long war of John Kerry
4. Gill Scott Heron: Black Wax/Is that Jazz?
5. Piece by Piece: 20 years of San Fransisco Graffiti

Laguna Beach: Season 1
Laguna Beach: Season 2
And anything else Laguna Beach.
Seriously, though, if any of you haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth, see it. I realize I'm probably the last one to see this film, but it was unbelievable. I'm still thinking about today. That, and the dog I saw get hit by a car on Saturday, but that's another story.
