Let me just get this out of the way. I think this ad is hilarious for Harley-Davidson tours. That said, I can't believe they got away with it. My agency didn't do it, I think it was Oglivy NYC. and likely for a regional Harley dealership. I can't see Harley brand ever doing anything like this.
I can see why people could have a problem with it. It's basically suggesting that Harley tours entitle folks to a statutory rape fest.
We keep hearing that Harley is trying to shed the idea that they are the Cadillac of motorcycles. Too gaudy and expensive for the 30 something set. Not hip enough for the folks that will pay for the hottest trendy toys. I think this ad does a good job of capturing that Vice magazine crowd.
I suppose I could just ask Falch if he likes it. Falch?

Please, if this was for the Vice magazine crowd that lady in the middle would be knocked up too.
And most of those other girls would have black eyes and slings.
