I wonder if he had a Rated Rookie?

In the heyday of my card collecting (summer of '89) I'm not sure I would have been able to comprehend the hilarity of a name like Rusty Kuntz. I can almost hear my trading buddy's older brother turning Rusty Kuntz into a pejorative, hurling it at me in between games of floor hockey, me wondering what a rusty cunt could be. But I sure am pleased that over a decade and half of maturing has done nothing to diminish my puerile sense of humor. It pleases me even more that this slugger was a Twin.

Jake uses this card as his profile pic on facebook. I used to have this card until I traded my entire collection for Darryl Strawberry cards. A wise business decision I know.

I can relate: I once traded the whole farm for a Ricky Henderson rookie. Mint, but still.

i hope the day never comes when i don't laugh at this card.

i used to trade all of my cards for eric davis, joe carter, jay buhner and robin yount.

i remember a few ago i saw jay buhner in a commercial for some sporting goods store in washington state—i was watching the mariners fsn channel. the thing i couldn't believe, is that he hadn't ripped the sleeves off of his suit yet.

Ol' Kuntz did his time in the AL Central, also slugging for the Tigers and the White Sox. By the way, does anyone have a 1990 Donruss Rex Huddler? You know, the red ones.

I hope he didn't have daughters.

I spent way too much money on Donruss in 1990 going after that stupid Juan Gonzalez reversed card - I probably have a dozen Rex Huddler's.

There were a lot Todd Zeile rookies in that '90 Donruss set too. He was my 1990 "Picked to Click" guy. I have about 30 of them.
