I would like to take a moment to pay homage to Lord Fratzke, the bassist for Jazz outfit Happy Apple, and more importantly the guitarist for Zebulon Pike. The only local Minneapolis band that I care about.
For one entire summer I made Fratzke an adjective. I used it almost exclusively to replace the word awesome.
His sojourn across fret boards, distorted Orange amps and brutally melted faces is an inspiration to anyone who ever rocked Sabbath's Lord of this World with a complete and utter disregard for their eardrums.
Erik Fratzke is an innovator, inspiration and now an honorary High Priest of Beast. Thank you Fratzke, and welcome to the fold.
