Sly.

As an uber fan of Sly Stone, and the impact he's had on music, this documentary looks like it might be a little hard to watch. It's tough to see a legend like Sly crippled from decades of drug abuse. Still, it warms my heart a bit that the infamous recluse is willing to involve himself in a project like this. Maybe he'll start showing up at scheduled appearances again. On time.

The stories of Sly carrying around illicit drugs in a violin case and traveling through the streets of Los Angeles in an RV equipped for nothing but partying are things of rock and roll legend. Supposedly the dude is living in cheap hotels and campervans now. Bummer.
