Superbeast soul/jazz/blues stirrer Etta James has passed on. She was 73 years old. I wonder how many people have tied the knot to "At Last?" How many times that song has been butchered at a karaoke lounge? Or how many babies were conceived while it played? Our cultural treasures are disappearing one after another. We bid farewell to one of the best.
