Adios, Easy Street Records.

Easy Street Records - Closing Day from Max&Cam on Vimeo.

Old pals Max McSimov and Cory Kelley made this film to commemorate the closing of Easy Street Records in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle.

I visited Easy Street often on my lunch breaks while working a few blocks away. They weren't the best record store in the world, but I always appreciated that they had live music perform in their store. I saw John Hyatt there once. He was crooning the khaki cargos off a few older broads in the audience. It sucks to see a neighborhood like Queen Anne lose a decent record store. Another one bites the dust.

Props to The Stranger.
