Coven. Witchcraft Destroys Minds and Reaps Souls. 1969.

The entire 1969 debut album from Coven, the most underrated acid/doom bands of the late 60's and early 70's.

They are recognized as the first band to introduce the "Sign of The Horns" to rock culture. They opened every concert with it. They also signed their first record contract for Mercury in blood.

According to lead singer Jinx Dawson:

"The satanic thing actually was something we were interested in and were studying at the time. When you're younger, you're looking for answers, and a lot of members of the band were looking into the same books at the same time. We studied it, we practiced it."

In the late 60's Coven opened for heavy hitters like Jimmy Page's Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge and Alice Cooper.
