I find that I usually put my pen down and step away from the computer. Take a walk or do something completely unrelated to the task at hand. But sometimes you can't. Sometimes those deadlines creep up and you've just finished your fifth cup of coffee and you're forced to make decisions. It's that time when I usually jump up and down and my desk and then blast Bela Bartok in my headphones or take a quick peek at Wooster Collective's page. And somehow, it works.
I also switch to water. What do you do?

I like going to the library, when they let me. It's awesome to have such an unbelievable facility right next to my office. It's quiet, comfortable, and there are oodles of resources to get your mind working again.
That and taking my shirt off and blasting Sabbath.
I like walking around the agency talking to people. And if that doesn't work, taking off my shirt and listening to Al Green.
i do three spins in my spinny chair and if that doesnt work, i put my shirt back on.
