Sam, i.e. little brother of Superbeast, is trekking across the country on his bike to spread the word about food sovereignty. It's a cool cause, and I'm proud of the little shit for the herculean effort.

Fifteen riders embark on a traditional cross-country bike tour with a distinctly progressive twist: our route will carry us across the American landscape while simultaneously serving as a platform from which to learn and raise awareness about food sovereignty.
Each day will start with a 60-mile ride and culminate in meals and discussion with key players in the elaborate local food culture that spans the full length of this ten-state tour.
