I'm having a great time visiting the land of lakes. I've lived in Seattle for a year and 2 months now, and I'm amazed with how much has changed in Minneapolis over such a short period of time. Some things always remain the same though.
Like Grumpy's Northeast and the Holy Land Deli. A couple of fine establishments that were checked off of my agenda shortly after arrival.
I don't miss the humidity. Or the mosquitos.
I only ate about one quarter of my gyro plate from Holy Land. It was a gut buster. I needed nap time. So very delicious though. I ran into another Minneapolis institution there. Mr. Peter Hajinian.
