All up in this Hoh.
The Hoh Rainforest on the Olympic Peninsula is a magical place. From Orca whales, to Makah indians, to Norse seafarers, everything about the place is shrouded in legend. Not to get all Doug Henning on the bit, but there is something about an ancient forest, mountains and uninhabited coast that gives me a slight tingle in my dingle.
Anyway, the little lady and I made the trek out to the Kalaloch shore to pitch a tent. It was wet. Like the wettest place I've ever been. Kubs was not amused. Here are some pics from our misty mountain hop.
