Sioux City: The Streets Have No Mercy.



Damn, good buddy Jim McLarty shared this police beat from his hometown, the gnarly streets of Sioux City, Iowa. Take a walk through hell and check out some of the heinous crimes happening every waking moment.

– 8:02 p.m., March 17, Hickory Lane: Caller says she received a nice call from someone, but is afraid of that person because the individual put a curse on family members years ago. The complainant was told not to answer the phone or to block that phone number.

– 8:34 a.m., March 18, 5700 block of Gordon Drive: Officers dispatched reference report of people having sex in a car behind Kmart. Two people were leaving in separate vehicles when officers arrived. The male individual reported he was just hugging the female party because she was sad over the loss of a pet.

– 11:28 p.m., March 18, 3300 block of Singing Hills Boulevard: Pizza delivery person’s 2003 white Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen out of the Pizza Hut parking lot. Police said the vehicle had still not been located as of Sunday, March 20.

– 5:26 a.m., March 18, 2900 block of Ridge Avenue: Female reported her boyfriend was drunk and knocking on her bedroom window.

– 9:32 p.m., March 19, 400 block of Gordon Drive: Woman at Sugarland concert drank until she got drunk, pushed someone in the crowd and was escorted out.
