1982. The Summer of Sci-Fi.

The Summer of 1982 was all about blockbuster Sci-Fi movies. I remember seeing both Tron and E.T. in the theaters, and The Thing and Poltergeist in late night drive-ins (do they still exist?). I turned 6 years old that Summer. Thanks to the fine folks at Boing Boing for this find.
