Meat falls off da bone.

It's no easy thing to make a good commercial. You've got clients who want it one way, creative directors who want it another, you've actually got to come up with a good idea, blah, blah, blah. But what about when you're a little BBQ joint in Oklahoma, like Spriggs, and you want to do the ad yourself, exactly the way you want to do it - you're the client and the creator director? Well, then naturally you drench it in smooth R&B stylings, cook up some juicy, evocative lyrics, and use the only fade out trick you know to grossly segue between cuts. Yes, it's a bad commercial by critical standards. But it's also pretty good. How do I know this? Because since it found its way into our office a couple of days ago, we can't turn off our falsettos. And we've adopted "meat falls off the bone" as a sort of slogan, something you say when you don't know what else to say. Sure, it's not going to win shit at Cannes - whoever made it probably isn't even aware that such award show exists - but it begs the question, what is a good ad?
