Help keep my good buddy Kelley's spirit alive with the Kelley Lynch Eternal Optimist Scholarship Fund. Almost $14,000 has been raised since last Summer's fundraiser at the 331 Club. Money that will go to help art and design students at MCAD in Minneapolis. That is fucking awesome. Well done Superbeasts!
The creation of a fund in Kelley's name, the generous gifts contributed to it, and the energy and enthusiasm that friends and family brought to the fundraiser are all testament to the reach of Kelley's embrace. So many loved and were loved by him. So many felt the spark of his generosity. It lives on in them, and in others who never had the benefit to know him. In Kelley's passing, his organs have helped improve the lives of over sixty people.
The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is honored to be entrusted with the stewardship of the Kelley Lynch Eternal Optimist Fund. For years to come, the fund will help students who have a passion for art and design, just as Kelley Lynch did.
