17 Days.
Open your earholes and listen to this amazing testament to one of the world's most talented musicians. A pristine acoustic version of 17 Days, where Prince sings and plays piano. Recorded in the studio in 1983, a time when the vast majority of pop musicians had their heads buried in piles of coke, quaaludes and popped collars. In the future, this will be on display in museums as an index of what it means to be a fucking musical genius. Everything else is pablum compared to this. Take notes, shit head bands.

Fuck yeah.
Fuck Yeah.
Fuck yeah.
Yeah, he' brilliant. His talent is so great, it's polarizing. You either get it, or you don't.
And he knows how to work his brand. That is, when he's done with a performance, he splits. He doesn't stand around to mingle only to detract from the effect he just had on the audience. Prince is about statements. He comes in, blows the place up and then leaves. One bold strike. Like, that's all you get folks only leaving the audience to desire his next performance even more, adding to the enigma that is Prince.
