I can't for the life of me recite a tune from any number of pop starlets these days. I wouldn't be able to recognize the vast majority of them either. On trivia night, I usually shoot blanks with the Lady Gaga questions.
I do remember my Dad introducing me to Ike and Tina Turner at a young age. The song Staggar Lee & Billy was my jam. A song about a good old bar fight over a lady. The lesson? Leave married women alone or get your ass whooped.
